The Kensington CommUNITY Festival is on Sunday 31 March 2019 from 10am to 4pm atKensington’s JJ Holland Park precinct inclusive of the Bill Vanina Pavilion, Kensington Community Recreation Centre and The Venny.
The Festival celebrates cultural diversity and community connection in a fabulous atmosphere with live music from around the world, the Kensington Sustainable Living Expo, food from all corners of the globe, henna hand painting, community stalls, face-painting,animal farms, workshops and African drumming. Just a sample of the day’s activities and entertainment!
This year the Kensington Neighbourhood House is again recruiting a team of volunteers to help out on the day to make this year’s festival bigger and better than ever. If you love being part of the Kensington community this is a great way to connect and play a role in what makes Kensington special.
Volunteer for a couple of hours or all day – it’s up to you!
