Our Festival is 11 this year.

It began way back as a small community event initiated by the Kensington public tenants to celebrate Kensington’s diversity in the spirit of the then-new Kensington redevelopment which transformed a gated public housing into a mixed and connected community.  Sandra Joy has been a Festival champion for all of its 11 years and will once again welcome everyone to the Festival as part of our opening ceremony.
